Need some help and advice with this please

Oh.. I was under the assumption that you just had a spare 760. If you already have GTX 285's and don't have to spend anything to use them then just stick with that card.

Well, you can also get a 380x for $160 and it's brand new, includes shipping, and 1.5-2x the performance of a 760.

The gtx 760 will be fine for her pc, if she just uses it for daily use and not putting load (like gaming ) it will not be bad for power usage.
