Guest_Jim_* Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 When THQ went bankrupt and its assets sold off, I watched the news to see where certain IPs went. After all, THQ did make some fun games and you want to know who will be managing the future of that IP. Some of them went to the company Nordic Games, which I had never heard of before. Now that company is changing its name to THQ Nordic, a reflection of its THQ acquisitions and the intent to be more than just the owner but actively working on these IPs. Along with the reincorporation news, THQ Nordic has announced that it has 23 game projects in development currently, and 13 of those are yet to be publicly announced. A "majority of these projects are based on former THQ owned IPs and franchises," so it looks like we may be seeing some almost-forgotten franchises return. I know I would enjoy seeing the next game in the Darksiders franchise and a resurrection for Red Faction, but that can be a sequel or reboot (I'm not picky here, I just want my hammer and explosive charges back).
