Shadowfactor Posted March 6, 2004 Posted March 6, 2004 I have a 9800 pro AIW and i hooked a thermal probe up to the back side of the core it has a stock Hs & Fan. anyway I am getting temps of 111 F Is this normal ?? It's the probe is hooked up to a thermaltake hardcano fan controller with 1 temp moniter ? Are 111 normal temps with an idle 9800 pro AIW I overclock it a little ealier but it's now on stock temps it has never had any cool down time . Mangar Posted March 6, 2004 Posted March 6, 2004 Let see... thats about 43.8c, thats how high mine gets after running 3dmark01se. I don't think you should be idling at that temp. Those stock fans are crap, you should look into better cooling for it, maybe the Zalman heatpipe+fan or Arctic Cooling's VGA silencer, or something.
