WhenKittensATK Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 I'd like to see 100 Mbps plans in the $30-40 range nationwide, maybe I'm too optimistic. I currently have 200/15 with a discount equivalent to a subscription based game
Fragsman Posted June 12, 2016 Posted June 12, 2016 ROFL. I had 1mb two months ago. Now I have 25mb, I think I was golden. Anyway I'm really happy with the upgrade. A total difference.

MadMan Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 I know this is an old post but I am glad to announce my cable company had finally upgraded its infrastructure and I now get 70 down/ 5 up for 90/month and to think that just a year and a half ago I only was getting 8/1 for the same price!!! cchalogamer Posted January 23, 2018 Posted January 23, 2018 (edited) Almost two years later, TWC is now Spectrum except when it's convenient for them not to be . Price is now $55 a month but due for the "yearly increase" in a few months and not a single person in the area hasn't gotten crazy rate increases with this buyout so I'm expecting the worst. Otherwise not much has changed for me. Still can't get anything better deal wise from the other local ISP. Yet...a 7 min drive away the farm HAS gotten even better. The 1000/30 is now "1000/1000" though uploads REALLY seem to cap out around 650 usually sitting in the 350 range when I check it. Still running the same under-performing router over there and could really use an upgrade. Just did a test and upload is actually the worst I've seen in the last year there Edit: None of the share links are working for that one for some reason, but it's 15ms/521Mbps/179Mbps /Edit Might be the router doing something stupid again (or because it hasn't been reset other than when the power goes out) Edited January 23, 2018 by cchalogamer
