HP Pavilion M6-1064CA

Recommended Posts

I recently changed the processor from an A8-4500M (Trinity) to an A10-5750M (Richland) and as per internet, it should perfectly work,

The laptop turns on but the monitor (which is new) stays black and nothing moves.

Some people say that I might need a Bios upgrade in it.

I went on the HP website and they released a new bios March 1st 2016.

I want your opinion on this as the processor outputs some heat which means that it's somehow working.

most likley the bios as you have said, slap your old cpu back in, make sure it boots, update the bios and slap your new shinny cpu in, see if it boots
