CheeseMan42 Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 If you are like me and grew up in the 90s then the original Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow are games that were probably in your library. Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have kept the releases coming since then, with the 20th anniversary of the game being celebrated this year. The game is now looking to take advantage of the increasing adoption of smartphones across the globe with Pokemon GO, an augmented reality game that will allow users to catch Pokemon and engage in gym battles in the real world. The game is currently in beta testing in Japan, New Zealand, and Australia and one user has uploaded a nine minute video showcasing some of the testing including character setup and catching Pokemon. I was very intrigued with the concept when I first heard about it, and the gameplay video has only furthered my anticipation.
