Bigun Posted March 4, 2004 Posted March 4, 2004 I've decided to make and assemble my own water cooling system for my computer. I've bought some tubing (Vinyl 3/8" ID, 1/2"OD), and saw a outside water pump rated at 200 Gph. Would 200 Gph be enough to keep a system cool or would that be too much? (Keep in mind I'm also adding a resivoir and radiator to the system before I use it).
Nuclear Posted March 5, 2004 Posted March 5, 2004 Actually, 200GPH is kinda mid-range. The Ehiem 1250 and Hydor L30 both put out over 300GPH, and they're very common pumps. A 200GPH pump would work really well for a one block system, or you prob could run 2 blocks with 3/8." How much was the pump? Bigun Posted March 5, 2004 Posted March 5, 2004 $20 from Lowes. I bought 20 feet of tubing there too for like $2 and some change.
