gebraset Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Earlier this month, it was reported that Intel Skylake processors suffered from a bug in which a system would freeze when performing workloads that were deemed to be complex. Although Intel released a fix that could be applied through the BIOS of a motherboard, the company was set to work with motherboard manufacturers to release the fix across a large number of different boards. Fortunately for owners of Intel 100 series motherboards from ASRock, the fix has been officially released and is available for immediate download. The fix from ASRock is only applicable to their motherboards, of course, so those who want to apply the fix for other motherboards that feature the Intel Skylake bug will have to wait until their manufacturers release official BIOS updates.
