gebraset Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 HP has officially unveiled the Chromebook 11 G4 Education Edition, which offers students with a rugged and versatile mobile device to complete school work and collaborate with others. The Chromebook 11 G4 Education Edition comes included with an Intel Celeron processor, 9.5 hours of total battery life, and a 180-degree hinge that allows for work to be done in various environments. The latest Chromebook from HP is just 20mm thick, weighs 2.7 pounds, features MIL-STD certification, and has successfully passed the company’s 70cm drop test. Gus Schmedlen, the Vice President of Worldwide Education at HP, noted that "With the HP Chromebook 11 G4 Education Edition (EE), we are bringing innovation, design and HP's legendary quality to students and teachers in a durable device built to survive the rigorous school environment while enabling students to achieve more both in and out of the classroom." The latest Chromebook from HP starts at $199 and is expected to be available within the United States sometime this month. Optional upgrades include an IPS panel that provides students with wide viewing angles and 3G/4G WWAN5 that boosts the overall connectivity capabilities of the Chromebook 11 G4 Education Edition.
