Could you guys let me know what you think of these components? Also, can I get by with no graphics card for a while? I don't have the coin for a 980 or 970 just yet, but I'd like to have something more practical than plugging my laptop into my screen all the time with all the peripherals. I won't be doing any gaming, the most graphics intensive thing will be watching the occasional movie or youtube video.

For cooling, I was just going to slap a CoolerMaster 212 on there. I've already done water cooling, but now that I live in France and its relatively cool in my room, I don't really see the need for it right now, especially since new chips run so much cooler than the old Core 2 Quad series.

Honestly unless you're serious on OCing or get a very good CPU that responds well with voltage the cooler you've picked is going to be hard to top for value.  Actually it's still going to be hard to top for value as most cooler that give a noticeable boost are at least double the cost.

My wife's 4770K doesn't actually OC much better under the $90 H100i than the $15 after rebate coolermaster 212wheverrevisionwasonsale edition that I bought to go on it when I got the 4930K. Sure it runs a bit warmer but nothing above reasonable levels maxing out around 60-65C @ 4.2 (it only does around 4.5-4.6 in the best of times and it could handle it @ 4.4 HOWEVER my wife barely NEEDS even a stock i5 like the HTPC in all honesty for 99% of her PC use so I didn't see the reason to try for more)

With all that said, if CPU cooling is a huge deal for you or you've got the budget nothing wrong with getting something better :)

On a side note the SSD is a "weak" point as that series of PNY doesn't really impress with speed or value.  (specs pulled from Newegg.com as the Sandisk wasn't listed on Amazon and honestly the PNY specs are listed as even lower making it look worse)

PNY CS1111

Max Sequential Read Up to 460 MBps
Max Sequential Write Up to 415 MBps
4KB Random Read Up to 71,000 IOPS
4KB Random Write Up to 73,000 IOPS

SanDisk Ultra II http://www.amazon.fr/Disque-SanDisk-vitesse-lecture-SDSSDHII-480G-G25/dp/B00M8ABFX6/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1452569059

Max Sequential Read Up to 550 MBps
Max Sequential Write Up to 500 MBps
4KB Random Read Up to 98,000 IOPS
4KB Random Write Up to 83,000 IOPS

That Sandisk is one example that was easy for me to find that's faster AND cheaper.  There may be better options, but value SSDs are harder for me to try and lookup using amazon's TERRIBLE search for such items and comparing prices here in the US and picking a good value may not be even close once you start looking at European pricing.  You don't NEED to pay for the fastest drive as the real world variation is reasonably small between them unlike the jump for mechanical HDDs. Still, no point in paying more for a slower one.
