Wheel or Joystick? Just cause

firstly: GAMEPADS AND I DO NOT GET ALONG. I do not have the coordination to manage two analog sticks simultaneously.

I think we can all agree that driving or flying with asdw sucks.

For games like the just cause series, where you have cars, helicopters, boasts, & planes.

 

Would you go for the joystick or the wheel?

I've always used the keyboard in Just Cause and GTA. For something where I need more precise control, like an actual driving game, then it's time for my gamepad. I haven't used a wheel in ages, but I have used a joystick before in BF2 for flying the planes. Helicopters were easier with a joystick, too, from what I remember.

On every game I play if I have to drive or fly I keep my gamepad plugged in and alternate between mouse , keyboard, and gamepad . Drive or flying anything is gamepad and the rest is mouse and keyboard. I have never used a wheel for any games .

Flying a plane is marginally easier with a came pad (I have one here at work) but no better that asdw IMHO.
