d3bruts1d Posted March 3, 2004 Posted March 3, 2004 Eh? Any beeps? Does anything come on? Lights? Fans? When did it last work? What did you do between then and now? Can't help out to much with a "it don't work" other than to tell you to check everything.
Ghost2520 Posted March 3, 2004 Posted March 3, 2004 (edited) Its plugged in right? If nothing at all comes on then you can maybe limit it down to a dead powersupply etc. When you push on do you here any drives spin up? Or if you get an error message tell us what it is and we can help you out, but as D3 said just saying "it doesn't work" won't help us or you out very much. kurosen Posted March 3, 2004 Posted March 3, 2004 qwqoko, you need to supply us with more info than just "my computer is broken". Give us some info on it such as hardware specifications and what you did that may have caused it. Has this computer ever run before or did you just build it? Was there a recent electrical surge in your area that may have blown out your Power supply? Did you just recently get this sytem? In most likelyhood, if your rig won't do so much as turn on a light, make a sound, or spin a drive, you most likely have an electrical issue. If you built it yourself, make sure that the mobo is mounted correctly in the case so it doesn't ground out, also make sure that all the leads that go from the case to your mobo are in correctly and finally, make sure your main ATX power connector going from your power supply to the motherboard is attached correctly, if it is not pushed in all the way it may not be getting the juice.
