However, for SLI, the single fan blower-style design seems to work better in a fanless side-panel case. The first one I had seen was the pair I just finished up. They took their time and did it right on both the GTX 960 XLR8 and the GTX 980 XLR8. I have to agree with the blower style fan working better in SLI configurations. The heat dump goes out of the chassis directly rather than having to be removed via the case fans. However as long as airflow through the case is great its not that bad.
