G.SKILL is planning to showcase two of its newest memory kits at the Intel Developers Forum this week. The two memory sets on hand are the "ultra-fast" DDR4 TridentZ series running at frequencies of 4266MHz and 4133MHz. Both sets are dual channel with two sticks of 4GB memory. The 4266MHz set is paired with an Intel i7-6700K on an ASRock Z170 OC Formula motherboard while the 4133MHz set is matched with an Intel i7-6700K on an ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero. Frank Hung, of product marketing at G.SKILL, described the demo stating, "We are truly excited to demo such extremely high memory speed on live demo systems, since DDR4 4000+MHz speeds were traditionally only achievable under extreme overclocking on liquid nitrogen cooling. We see amazing performance potential for the new DDR4 memory technology on the newest Intel platform, and very excited to see where it will take us in the near future."
