gebraset Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 AIDA64, a popular PC diagnostic utility that provides detailed information about the hardware and software of individual or networked computers, has just celebrated its 20th anniversary. The application, which has become the standard for PC diagnostics, was originally called ASMDemo and was developed for DOS in June of 1995 and released to the public in 1996. Tamás Miklós, the lead developer at FinalWire, stated that “Just like in the past two decades, we will continue to do our best to follow hardware technology innovations and to provide the most accurate hardware and software information to our users.” In order to celebrate the 20th anniversary properly, FinalWire has released AIDA64 for iOS and Windows Phone devices. The applications utilize the design language of the platform, allowing for a seamless user experience while providing detailed information about hardware within a vast amount of mobile devices. The iOS version can be downloaded from the App Store for free and is compatible with devices running iOS 7.0 or later, while the Windows Phone version is available through the Windows Phone Store for free and is compatible with devices running Windows Phone 8.1 or Windows 10 Mobile Preview.
