CheeseMan42 Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 ADATA brought its latest product to Computex, a new solid state drive that is the only one to use the Eldora solution from Marvell. The PCIe Gen3 SSD is capable of reaching speeds greater than 3GB/s, "approximately six times faster than conventional SATA SSDs." The card is built on 16nm MLC NAND using the NVMe protocol, with capacities up to 2TB. ADATA is also the first to feature the Artemis2 solution, also from Marvell, on PCIe Gen3 x1 cards with speeds up to 1GB/s. Also on display were a pair of SSDs, the SP550 and SP560, using 16nm TLC NAND flash with SLC cache.
