Locutus Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 (edited) Corsair seems to be hinting at a new product they will be unveiling in 3 days. They sent out emails and have a teaser video (although the video doesn't show anything.) My guess would be a case, F13Bubba speculated that it might be a new system, and others speculate it may be a new steam machine. http://www.corsair.com/en/landing/bulldog Edited May 28, 2015 by Locutus
bp9801 Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Hopefully a new case, but it'd be interesting to see them jump into the desktop or laptop world. Guess we'll find out when Computex kicks off.
Boinker Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Well lets just hope the thing (whatever it is) lives up to the hype. What a tease.
Locutus Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 It's a 4k HTPC. Kind of disappointing.

Locutus Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 The H5SF reminds me of the old heatsink design in the Dell Optiplex GX280
Waco Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Just reminds me of something I wouldn't want in my theater rack...
gebraset Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Meh, seems like a neat concept, but I've got to agree with Waco on this one. It doesn't look anywhere near what I would call professional, and seems to cater to gamers who simply don't care about pleasing aesthetics and want a flashy gaming case. Overall, it seems like a great idea, but I feel like plenty of other options exist that offer a more pleasing looks and likely cost a bit less. It's great that they incorporated support for their own liquid coolers, but I'm just not feeling it.
GabrielT Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 I think the main appeal is a htpc/slim mini itx system design for water cooling and available as an counsole killer is a great idea. The psu will be available in the retail market and is a 600 watt small formfactor little beast. It is also debuting a fully socket mounted pump/radiator low profile CPU cooler. The bulldog concept as a whole is a little meh. The parts individually are exciting.

Waco Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 The bulldog concept as a whole is a little meh. The parts individually are exciting.Everything about it is marketed to teenagers IMO. The parts individually have existed for years.
