Erosannin Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Hi Guys I have a Silverstone GD08 case with a Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H Mobo + 4x4GB Corsair Vengeance RAM. Do you think I could fit a Noctua NH-C14 in this case?
bp9801 Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 It should work out fine. Even with a fan on top of the C14, there should be enough clearance to not be an issue because that case is rather tall for an HTPC case.
Erosannin Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 My question was mostly because of the RAM. Will it still fit in there?
SpikeSoprano Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Might help if you said what brand of ram you have ??
bp9801 Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 He has Corsair Vengeance RAM. If it has tall heat spreaders, it should be able to fit since the C14 was designed with those in mind. If the RAM has the regular sized heat spreaders, definitely no issue.
SpikeSoprano Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 I see that now in his first post, worst case he could remove the heat spreaders .

Erosannin Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 What other CPU Cooler would you recommend for this Case, knowing that it can be max 140MM high?
