potatochobit Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 need a laptop around 300$ but it needs a good processor, no chromebooks and such onboard graphics are fine any suggestions?
WarWeeny Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 From what site are you ordering from? 300 dollars usually is an AMD processor, or a shitty Intel atom/celeron processor, so pick your poison
El_Capitan Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 What are you going to use it for, and what screen resolution are you looking for? You can still get some good Intel dual-core CPU's for under $300, but resolution will be around 1280 x 720. If you're looking at 1920 x 1080 resolution, expect it to be in the $350 range for dual-core's, but around $400 - $450 you could probably find Intel i5 or i7 quad-cores. potatochobit Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 (edited) any clearance laptop with an i3 or A series or better is fine around 15" it's just for an older lady to check email and watch internet but I want something that will be able to browse the internet for many years, so it needs to have a contemporary processor so no atom processors or chrome books, 720 resolution is fine *if you are awesome* recommend one that includes windows 7, as well edit: what about a transformer book? that might be a good compromise all the women like to play ipad in bed and it can be plugged into the keyboard when an email is needed Edited March 24, 2015 by potatochobit

Waco Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 The new Atoms are much nicer than you'd think, especially for someone who just wants to browse. You can get an ASUS T100TA for < $250 every day.
