Maybe try a different security type, limiting to wireless G, or even no security temporarily to rule out that as some kind of incompatibility. I remember when I visited my uncle's and he had two SSIDs, one apple computers were ok with and another for windows computers. I think the apple computers had trouble connecting with the wireless N or maybe it was a matter of the security used on the one . (WEP vs WPA)
