It's rebuild time again...but for good reason.

New clutch/flywheel/pressure plate.  Rated for 320 torque. :D  Also, new MLS head gasket + related gaskets.

ECU upgraded to control a boost solenoid, have launch control, and a dual MAP sensor for barometric correction.  This is what I did during the Superbowl. :P

Holy crap, lots of parts.

I'll post as I progress (slowly most likely).  The motor is almost ready to come out of the car to drill and tap the oil pan.  Shooting for 12 PSI and ~225 RWHP...it'll be faster than the Corvette. :D

I toyed with the idea of doing it totally myself...but I'd end up spending basically the same amount and it would take me about 10 times as long.  The number of parts and well-engineered pieces that come with this kit is incredible.

The ECU tuning is going to be...fun.

Nice!

A roll between the two would be close, but I think even with 225 it will have its hands full from a dig against the C5 though. If its a stock manual the vette should be ~290+ and more importantly ton more low end tq. I know its lighter, but that is still a big hurdle :).

Now I REALLY wanna see it finished to see them run lmao.

At 7500 feet (or even down at 5500 where I'd probably be able to run them) the C5 is at a pretty good disadvantage because the air is thinner.  At sea level the C5 is at ~330 at the wheels with the current mods...up here?  It's probably closer to 260-270 at the wheels.

From a dig though, it'll win every time.  The C5 has 11.5" wide rear tires...the Miata is rocking 6" wide. :D

Ouch didn't know you were such high altitude! Here I am getting mad when the track has ~700ft DA lol.

Yea boost is the way to go way up there.
