l1il Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Hi! The first thing I gotta say is that error description is unuseful for us. The useful part would be the minidump cited at the end of this text. Also, copy-pasting the whole thing makes the thread difficult to read. The information of the crashed driver / software will be included in the minidump. All you need to do is open that file and find out (discard the hex values) which driver crashed. The second thing you don't mention is if you kept everything at stock clock. We would need to know how long has it been you have such blue screens. If it's since you put up the computer or two weeks ago (example), causes are different. Recent driver change? Need more info. WarWeeny Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Did you overclock that processor? If you did, return to stock values and try again. From my understanding, your processor is not getting enough voltages and this results in a bsod.
El_Capitan Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Probably overclocking, need to increase VCore and/or QPI/VTT Voltage.
BluePanda Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Well, OP says 3.5 GHz, so that is technically stock...so it's hard to yell at him for overclocking. Have you changed any settings in the BIOS gideon?
gideon123 Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 I will get that minidump file asap. The computer has not been overclocked in anyway. everything is running at stock. even the gpu is. it seems to be working fine now. I had this computer for about 5 months and it worked fine then i got the bluescreen. thanks
IVIYTH0S Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Probably overclocking, need to increase VCore and/or QPI/VTT Voltage.+1 The code "124" was usually QPI/VTT voltage for me!
wevsspot Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 If all else fails use a 3rd party utility like Bluescreenview or Whocrashed to submit a crash report to us http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html http://www.resplendence.com/whocrashed
