potatochobit Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 just be aware of this I have ordered many blu-rays from amazon and they come in bubble mailers and more than one has arrived smashed I ordered the new crucial mx100 512gb and it came in a bubble mailer too interestingly this new SSD came with a software key for acronis true image so you can clone it nothing wrong with bubble mailers but electronics should not be in them this was the amazon prime 2 day shipping and it was thin so maybe they treated it as an envelope instead of a package
Black64 Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Got a few that way to, not a big deal, SSDs are quite rugged.
GabrielT Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 I received an OEM processor this way before, i was surprised they did it that way but it worked fine.
WhenKittensATK Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Not a big deal to be honest. Similar with processors (for ones without pins). They can handle shipping in bubble envelopes. No moving parts, not much to worry about. Only time you should be worried is when you're mailing it in as a RMA, because they want you to mail it in a specific way otherwise they may just void it. IVIYTH0S Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 I love bubble mailers, I'd send a 2.5" hdd/ssd in them if I sold some...and I believe I have before, definitely have for memory (what is a SSD again? ) and I think I even have for a processor before. No issues anytime, and of course if there were I'd stand by my sale and honor a return/refund
