Bosco Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Have you ever had a memory kit overclock 800Mhz? Can't recall that happening myself, but this Kingston HyperX Fury White kit Frank just reviewed did exactly that. Read his review and see if the overclock helped with performance. http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/kingston_hyperx_fury_white/
El_Capitan Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 (edited) My Samsung Wonder RAM overclock from 1333MHz to 2800MHz. Do you know if Kingston will make a green colored version of these? Edited May 16, 2014 by El_Capitan
ClayMeow Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 That white is damn sexy. Is that racist? Do you know if Kingston will make a green colored version of these? An "NVIDIA Green" color would be sweet!
ccokeman Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 As far as I know they will make just the four colors noted unless they add green. I can see a lime green being bad ass! Or even an OD green. Ebon, these go higher but the voltage and timings drop performance to a level that just sucks. Now if all I was after was speed I think these may have 3200Mhz in them on the right board and CPU. El_Capitan Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Yeah, timings and voltages are important. I think 2800MHz on the Samsung's is around 1.85V's at 10-12-12-21-1 Timings.
