Using an apu for bitcoin mining

What is asic?

basically: A higher ASIC value means less voltage is necessary for the same clocks at stock (or so I've noticed)

No no no - ASIC as in "application specific integrated circuit". Basically chips built entirely for mining at the best return per watt used.

dis guy knows, google is ur friend weeney :P

He was asking for mining with an APU, you only give him ASIC.

That doesnt answer his question at all.

It's a cheaper alternative, if he wants to mine he might as well do it in a more efficient, faster and cheaper way. ya can get usb sticks than can do 2Gh for $60 on ebay. If mining is a big part in his new rig then he might as well check this out otherwise if mining is small he can get a 7850K or a 760K or whatever an a 7770 or whatever offers better Kh, if mining hasn't upped the prices too much
