Just found a link while browsing. Just look where all these cards end up.

God what morons :pfp:

If you were raking in the dough you would have a different opinion I think. :)

The imaginary dough or the one you hand over to your electric company?

Nothing imaginary about it. I have bank deposits to prove it LOL.

Pic? I'll take it all back with proof of it actually being worth it

Moved a little bit into penny stocks last week.

How long did that take and did you purchase any extra video cards to achieve it?

^ This. I've never been interested in Bitcoin too much, but I have heard great stories of people that hopped on early. Though as it is well know, the graphics cards got expensive quick, and it became too difficult to compete with large databases that were mining. But, I am curious in how long it took you (electricity costs + GPU costs might have been close to that?)

I may "cash" in on this stupid phase by selling my 7950 and getting a 4GB GTX770...you should give some of your profits to me to bridge the $50ish gap extra I'll have to pay ;)

That was just a small amount that I cashed out to put into penny stocks. It was ~550 worth and I got 542 in my bank after fees.

I already had the cards since when they were new and cheap, didn't buy them for mining. Think I paid ~350 for the first one and bought the second here o for around 300.

Not much difference in electricity, raised my bill by ~$10-15 a month but I make $10-13 every 24 hours when I mine nonstop. Right now it's getting hot again so I only mine overnight.

Just two 7970s at 1050/1500. They can run much faster but not worth the extra heat and power draw...the cards are barely breaking a sweat and stay around 50c.
