Bosco Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 I have been thinking about this a lot lately, thinking back on all the old games I used to play over the years. Of all the games you have ever played on your PC, what has been your favorite? What game took the most of your time over the years? Curious to see your answers. ClayMeow Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 If we're going by time spent, then probably Counter-Strike (if I combine all instances of the game). But my favorite of all-time is Half-Life 2. It's really the only game I've beaten that I can actually go back to and play again and again and still enjoy it. InCrYsIs Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 (edited) Diablo 2 and Dragon Age Origins at the top. Can't choose between them. Mass Effect 2 just misses. Both over 200 hours played for sure. Edited January 28, 2014 by InCrYsIs
Bubbaxm2 Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Unreal Tournament 3 has taken thousands of hours from me and will probably take thousands more unless they come out with a UT4.

VaporX Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Well I have to admit to having two. The first is Rules of Engagement 2, an awesome game that was so difficult it never got a heavy following. The other is Skyrim.
Bosco Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Pretty good selections so far. Dune 2000 and Star Trek: Star Fleet Command have the most hours I think from me, just due to Lans and online play. BF2 and the first Medal Of Honor was up there for hours played. Still not sure if I could narrow down a favorite there is so many too choose from
That_Guy Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 (edited) Genre division is OK?Top RPG: Fallout 2 Top action RPG: Diablo Top RTS: Total Annihilation/Age of Empires 2/Dune2/Starcraft Top shooter: Quake 2 multiplayer/Unreal Tournament Top sim: Transport Tycoon Top turn-based startegy: Heroes 3/UFO X-com Top MMO: WoW/EvE Top MOBA: LoL Top Racing: Need for Speed 2 idk.. I'll add other genres as i remember what other genres there are Edit: Oh yeah, those like Oddworld:Abe's Odyssey and Little Big Adventure 2 are up there on the top shelf of my faves MDK was pretty epic too... And those odd games like Vangers: Warriors of the road or Space Rangers Tetris was the most time consuming though. Spent like 3 years playing that one. feetfats Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 (edited) Company of Heroes is what got me hooked on PC gaming. I used to only play games on console but I bought a copy of this game when I went away for school and I only brought my laptop with me. It was great. BFBC2 was my first battlefield experience on PC and I loved that game but for me my favorite game always tends to be whatever I play the most today. For example BFBC2 was my favorite and I stopped playing it when BF3 became my new favorite and so on. Today my favorite game is BF4. VaporX Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 SFC Interesting choice, I actually worked with Taldren in a group known as the Inner Circle. We where the lead beta testers as well as helped with some of the development on SFC, SFC2 and SFC2:OP :-)
