Removing Psu Wires

Recommended Posts

I'm about to sleeve my psu and there are two or three uneeded cables that I want to remove. What I want to know is a safe method to do so.

Or just tie them around the back of your mobo tray in the case so they go unnoticed.

In the future, You may need those wires.

Take a soldering iron, put it on the solder connecting the wire that is attached to the psu, and the solder should get hot, thus letting you remove the wire.

I simply cut off the wires and heat-shrinked the ends, then I put the ends of them inside the psu. I was sure to save them, in case I ever needed them in the future.
