Is it sad that one of the main reasons I'd want to upgrade to a newer a platform is USB 3+. I have an add in PCI-E card but I want native lol

Wouldnt PCIE be more reliable since if it goes to poop all you need to do is replace the pcie card?

but my laptop battery is only rated for 48Wh... 

and my charger only puts out 65W...

 

I look forward to the ensuing hilarity...

Well pc parts can have accidents and sometimes you need to open the case and change its diapers

Surely they're going to just claim 'up to' 100W, or have a full spec and mobile spec classification

Surely they're going to just claim 'up to' 100W, or have a full spec and mobile spec classification

I believe they are talking about the whole laptop/notebook being powered by USB...

What about just a small USB 3.0 cord, its going to be so thick just to handle the power.

 

There might just be an amp on the end of the cord no big deal
