Onion Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 I updated to 8.1 and everything looked a little bigger than before. I went to my settings and checked my resolution, and it still says 1920x1080. I tried sliding it down to something else, applying that, and then back to 1920x1080, but everything still looks big. I downloaded the latest drivers for my graphics card and 8.1 and then restarted, and everything still looks a bit big. Windows says I'm displaying at 1920x1080, but GeForce Experience says I'm actually displaying at 1536x864, which seems about right given how everything seems a little bigger. What else could I try? This is really annoying. Thanks guys.
Waco Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 The scaling default changed - drop it down a notch to test. What does your monitor report?
Onion Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 Awesome, thanks. I kind of got thrown off because in Windows 8 the scaling is 100%, 125% or 150%, and is always shown as an option. In Windows 8.1, you first have to check a box saying you want to set your own scaling, and then the options appear (which is stupid).
