weird screen artifacts or tearing? sli gtx 670

Are you using the same cable for the monitor and TV? if not it could be the cable...

I'm convinced it's the monitor.  Probably the scaler board going bad or over heating.  First thing to do is pull the rear cover from the monitor and give it a thorough cleaning with compressed air.  After you've removed all of the accumulated dust and dirt bunnys test again.

 

If you still have the line(s) then the monitor is defective.

Yep, after reading the later posts it does look like a heat isssue on the monitor... yea, my roommate said her laptop was getting realy loud (it's an older Dell) and said it might be on it's last leg.. I asked when the last time she blew the dust out of it, "hmm, um never". after doing so it ran much quieter :)

You know what to do (heck I'd leave it all open unless the back cover was necessary for use of the stand or something)

yeah guys it was the monitor clean it with compressed air and been good for some days now i hope it keeps like that if not i will have to buy a new monitor xd

Glad to hear the cleaning went well! Sometimes a simple fix is the best solution.
