Wesstron Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Fabulous! Bill, I salute you for your skills! Too bad you are not in my area or I will let you go crazy on my 1st edition HAF 932... It begs for some modding LOL
mnpctech Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Thanks for the good word guys! I've been away with other commitments, but back on this one now! I made holder for replica wwII bomb. This will mount it over two of the front 120mm intake fan. Made from 1/16" thick steel that I bent, fastened together with 1/8" pop rivets. Mounting screw holes are spaced 15mm. I painted if Flat Black Enamel paint to match the finish on the Corsair 900D.

mnpctech Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Thank you everyone, I've been away from the workbench, but should be on this build tomorrow with another update!
Locutus Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Bill shouldn't the rivets be offset from the seams (or vice versa?) I don't think they normally would rivet directly on the seam, so it just looks a little off.
mnpctech Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 (edited) Very good point, Thank you Locutus.. I think I had a case of tunnel vision when I did that... luckily, theyre very light, so I can move out the seams, by adding new ones with more darker definition. bishop245 Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 It looks good as it is, even if the rivets need to move it will still look good.
mnpctech Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 I would push the border out with another line.. and finally, Scale replica wwII bomb attached... I'm still debating about style of Pinup Girl artwork
VaporX Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 OMG, that is awesome!!!!!!!!
Wesstron Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Fantastic! What's your plan for the exposed fan area? Are you going to leave it as is or cover it somehow? For the Pinup girl, I would go with a tweaked version of the Georgia Peach with a "C" for Corsair on the cape lol!
