Will leave it as a vm just so I don't feel too dumb if a customer brings in a w8 machine to be repaired. yup, it's different, but not much different, ...a little snappier, a little easier to move around in, and the inevitable start button/window...but i'm glad i burned a full backup to revert to when the time comes...
