the bad thing is you simply cannot please everyone....

I myself dont really like the ultr-thiness of the phone as i have big hands and it feel like paper so I have one of those 4-piece body-Glove cases. Mainly because I do construction and that would just kill the phone otherwise. No my wife prefers the thin part of the phone. Light and easy to pocket. She has several cases and most times the phone isnt in one.

tough call really

The S4 does feel thicker and more durable compared to my old S3. It definately feels more like a phone worthy of its high pricetag.

I can type faster than a virtual keyboard and more accurately than both voice and virt. keyb. (no "guessing" what I want to type because I'm typing what i want to type) Plus all these phones are getting bigger and bigger *because* half the screen is taken by the stupid virtual keyboard when in use. Like my phone is nearly a true laptop replacement because I can goto full websites and not have to worry about a virtual keyboard all the time. All my screen is used as viewable area even while I type. Emulated games require to have a physical keyboard for anything more than subpar enjoyment. (I can fluidly play super smash bros. on my phone because I have real feedback and usable screen) Also typing alot of symbols is lightning fast with real function keys.

+2

I also prefer a physical kb.

Physical keyboard? Swype FTW

For short message, no guess work when I'm typing what I want to type ;) (Swype is the best for virtual keyboard though, won't deny that)

Is it just me.or does anyone else dislike what the Sammy design department did post GS2?

I wish Samsung would stop going overboard with the plastic. I don't care if my phone has a bit of weight to it or some kind of texture so I can actually freaking hold it without having to spend more money on a case. Scuffing the sides with sandpaper would be better than the smooth as silk plastic on pretty much every Samsung phone in the past few years or so.

Idk what you're talking about, but my GS1 is a tank and I don't buy into screen protectors or cases. Sure it may get knick's and scratches (mine hasn't really had much problem with that either) but it still is very sturdy on its own.

QWERTY Phones are inherently more thick, I personally love my phone's added thickness, it commands its own authority to and comfort. (I even have a fat extended and it feels WONDERFUL when gaming)

Was at costco today and played around with the display model they had and compared it to the size of my Droid Charge thinking the 5" screen would just be too much.  Lady told me they expect to have it in 2 weeks at  $199.99 so I will be returning then to get rid of my POS now... Almost went iPhone 5, but not this time Apple!

How much of the Internal memory is used up on pre-loaded apps? reports are 8gb.... any word Nyt?

On my 32Gb it shows only 23.23Gb total space. But some of the Factory apps aren't included in that.

On mine with all the factory-loaded apps, a couple small free Play Store games and some very useful Play Store apps the usable comes to 22Gb.

Luckily I have my 32Gb memory card for music and pictures.
