ir_cow Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 So like always instead of studying for a test I thought it was a smarter idea to make a tutorial on how to create your own semi professional image. I used this on craiglist and I have been getting phone calls all day long. Before it was 2 weeks without a real offer, so it really shows how much a good looking picture can sell something. Part one shows how to get your image ready for Photoshop / GIMP Part Two uses Photoshop to creating the final image you seen below Part Three - Same but using Gimp (Coming Soon) Files Original Image ZipPSD, Final and Original Zip
ClayMeow Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Sooooo....you flipped your image and then used a mask....congrats on mastering Photoshop 101. Okay, maybe masks are 102 material. But seriously, I saw your images and knew exactly what would be needed to produce that effect. Nothing really special, IMO, but hey, if it helps you sell products, more power to ya! ir_cow Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 yeah it's easy sauce but it helpful none the less . I bet most people don't know how to do this . edit: I would say the workflow of taking the image correctly and setting up a HDR image takes more effort . I just used a simple backdrop to show anyone can do it . Of course setting up lights or using a infinity wall is way better but that wasn't the point . Definitely capturing the ideal image is the key.
