IVI's 5th Bake (HP dv2700t Part 2)

Recommended Posts

As those of you may remember, back in august I had already baked my dad's hp pavilion dv2700t here

Well it started acting up again so it's bakin' time again!

Naturally here's the necessary one finger salute to Nvidia for making the POS 8400M GS chip that goes bad for pretty much everyone and anyone who owns a laptop with this chip

And now we wait...

IVI go away or is it the laptop saying bye bye lol

No, I just expect that, like clockwork, it shall act up in another 6 months and I'll have to re-bake the mother effer. (And they wonder why I have AMD graphics on my new laptop lol)

I had this laptop before I built my first rig. It was such a piece of crap, it died on me in less than a year and it ended up costing too much to fix it. This was back before I knew how to work on computers, so we just trashed it (HP wouldn't warranty it) and I built my rig, lol.

Don't blame HP, it's Nvidia's POS graphics that go bad in all of them. My 540M messed up in my last laptop but a bake couldn't fix it. No more Nvidia for me (unless it's just a problem with their budget line of mobile graphics)

Yep, the battery will explode and erupt into flames, I know from experience!
