nvidia control panel problem

keeps on saying nvidia control panel has stopped working, i've uninstalld the driver, reinstalled, driver sweepered it, deleted it in safe and about every other thing i can do, i can't figure out why it won't work

Hey Travis, please post pics of the following;

 

1. Dialog box from desktop that shows the error message

2. Windows event log (specifically the red error that correlates with the control panel crashing)

 

It would also help if I knew;

 

1. UAC setting on this rig

2. BIOS revision of motherboard

3. nVidia driver version being used (and any other revisions that you have tried that cause the same CP crash)

Current driver version

Previous driver versions tried

Current Motherboard BIOS revision

Current UAC settings

 

Has it always behaved like this?

 

Do you get the same error if you try the card in a Windows 7 machine?

Have you grabbed the screenshot already?  Do you need help grabbing the screen shot, or just help posting up a thumbnail?

In the "Reply to this topic" box, select "More Reply Options"

 

That will open up the advanced reply editor.  Lower left you'll see "Attach Files"

 

Select "Choose File"

Navigate to the file you want to upload and select it

Then click on "Attach This File"

 

Click on "Add Reply"

 

Done  :)

bio: no clue it a locked down sager bios

problem is on my laptop btw not my sig pc
