FX 8350 Temps?

problem solved. the H60 is too weak to handle a FX 8350 on full load (Prime95 that is). All the games I tested today the CPU doesn't go over 40c.

 

 

solved again. the h60 was bunk. I bought a Antec 620 that suppose to be worse and its at 57c on prime all day.

How are you getting those temps?

 

I am running on my Thermaltake Water 2.0 Performer and this was the best I could do.

you try prime 95? also I should try a different program . I was using the asus bundle program that works fine with the other 2 builds

 

edit: what should i trust, both asus and Hardware monitor says what I am use to and CoreTemp is very low.

go with teh Asus or hardware monitor... core temp needs set to be correct...

hmm well the temps aren't so bad with this cooler than . I'll just pull it off and put some good thermal paste on to help it a few c .

 

This is my first AMD build since the 939 X2 and its not horrible but AMD has a lot to learn about socket brackets .

I just picked up an 8320 for cheap and am strongly leaning towards water cooling. I will post up some temps next week when I get everything else for the build if I do go with water cooling.
