evga precision reads wrong

i use evga precision to change the fan curve on my cards for folding to keep them cooler, i kept getting bad work units so i did a reboot, now when i start my client the card heats up the fan turns up but it says gpu usage 0 percent, i thought thats funny, lets see what after burner has to say, it says the same thing temps are up but no load

 

 

and in the log file work is indeed being done, i dont like it, i want to know whats going on

what driver version you are using atm? tried updating or roll-back the driver a notch?

i remember this kind of issue way back with my 9800GT days.

Bottom right "More Reply Options"

 

Down in the left hand corner you'll see "Attach Files"  / "Choose File"

 

From there it's pretty self explanatory

i dont know why, but after i put in my other gtx 275 and a mother board bios update its working again

^^ Then it is most probably due to lack of BIOS update of the motherboard.

Really no telling at this point.  Sometimes a BIOS reflash or update has been known to cure many ills.  Even on things that have apparently worked previously.  Glad it's working now though.
