d3athsd00r Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 While attemtping to overclock my brand new A6 (I've read all the tutorials I could find) I come across one issue and I can't seem to find people having this issue. I can overclock the CPU and GPU parts of the APU easily by adjusting the multipliers and divisors. I've gotten the CPU up to 3300MHz from 2700MHz and the GPU up to almost 900MHz from 600MHz.. However, anytime I change the core clock from the default setting of 100 (I've tried everything from 101 to 130) I only get a black screen after saving and rebooting. Nothing fixes the issue except resetting CMOS then going back and either restoring a backup config or manually setting everything again. Does anyone know what is going on and how to fix this? Or will I just have to setting with adjusting the multipliers/divisors?

d3athsd00r Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 No BSOD. Just a black screen after saving and rebooting. It doesn't POST or anything.
Drdeath Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 You need more vcore.. The scrren shot is 3850K if I remember correctly
d6bmg Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 (edited) No BSOD. Just a black screen after saving and rebooting. It doesn't POST or anything. Processor is not getting enough juice to load the system up. How about giving it a little bit more vcore? And I think you must have left vcore to auto, right?
