El_Capitan Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 My scores don't look right compared to review numbers (especially maya-03). Driver differences, maybe?. SPECviewpwer results for Quadro 6000 (1920 x 1080 with no FSAA): Stock (574MHz Core Clock and 747MHz Memory Clock): Overclock with stock voltage (670MHz Core Clock and 900MHz Memory Clock): Looks like there's not much advantage to overclocking a workstation card. Can't wait to see Titan numbers.
ir_cow Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 (edited) yeah it seems kinda low on certain ones. even nvidia offical score is like double for maya. Maybe the newest drivers doesn't like Specview anymore ? Quadro 6000: catia-03 50.21 ensight-04 59.00 maya-03 105.51 proe-05 9.15 sw-03 53.84 tcvis-02 47.35 snx-01 59.23 lightwave-01 54.17 Quadro k5000 and 5000 vs GTX 680 Link Heres Mine Quadro FX 4800Viewperf 11 - 1080x1920 0xAA------------------------------------------------------catia-03 25.42ensight-04 15.10lightwave-01 41.93maya-03 42.85proe-05 10.57sw-02 35.30tcvis-02 18.21snx-01 17.80 I will say that when you turn on AA your score won't drop much at all, great thing about Femi and having 4x aa while working is so nice instead of seeing jagged lines all the time. I just leave 4x AA on in maya , though Mudbox can't handle it at all .... Edited March 11, 2013 by hornybluecow
ir_cow Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 hate to bug people again but I still haven't seen a benchmark anywhere on the web of a titan in FP32 or 64 mode. Anyone feeling bored this weekend?
ir_cow Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 found the answer today http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-titan-opencl-cuda-workstation,3474.html . looks like its no faster than a GTX 580 in most apps. so a workstaion card is still king . Once Adobe supports OpenCL with ATI cards fully here in the summer than Consumer ATi cards will be faster in a few things like video edting.
