Aristotle Posted February 21, 2004 Posted February 21, 2004 The file is a .run.bz2 file. You will need to extract the .run file from the bz2 archive. Then just "sh" the .run file in a terminal and voila!

Leldorion Posted February 22, 2004 Posted February 22, 2004 Instead of creating another post involving ut2k4, and since kevins question has already been taken care of.... Has anyone running a 64bit linux box put both versions of the game head to head inorder to figure out how big of a difference it is? Propane Posted February 22, 2004 Posted February 22, 2004 as in windows/linux or 32/64 bit
Leldorion Posted February 24, 2004 Posted February 24, 2004 32/64 I don't know if this is the first opportunity to check out the difference in games or not, but I'm curious...
Propane Posted February 24, 2004 Posted February 24, 2004 probably not a big dofference because they havent relaeased the 64bit version
bigred Posted February 24, 2004 Posted February 24, 2004 there is a 64 bit linux, but again it's the lack of 64 bit apps that hurts the most.
Propane Posted February 24, 2004 Posted February 24, 2004 I was talking about UT actually
Leldorion Posted February 25, 2004 Posted February 25, 2004 (edited) Unless this is just the server edition: here I'm just curious how it measures up if it's what I think it is...anybody willing to take if for a test run on the same box so we can get an objective look so to speak?..
