You can actually buy 35mm film and get it developed?

 

as for your question.....get them developed and then either get a flatbed scanner and scan the pictures or get a film/slide scanner and use it with the negatives.

Doing it yoyrself, get them developed as large as possible and then take a pic of them with a digital camera. Flatbed scanners can't get enough detail.

 

Best however is to get them.professionally moved to a digital format.

If you can find one, pick up a VuPoint 21c WM-FC-VP SB 2.0 Negative Film & Slide Digital Converter. It has a Scan high resolution: 5 mega pixels equal to 1800 dpi (enhances to 3600 dpi via interpolation).
