I am new to laptops. I am close to buying the hp hp dv7t or the hp dv6t. I need it for school, but also gaming. Games below directx 10 most likely. Would these work? Or any other suggestions under $1300? Your help is appreciated.

I have the dv6t 7000, its a great laptop. Good build quality, and a fair price. I paid 1200 and got a free xbox. Just get the SSD from newegg if you want that, you'll save a fortune.
