firefox11 Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 I have a computer that I can use to fold when it's not in use, but I cannot install anything on the computer. How do I put everything on a thumb drive so all I have to do is plug it in and run, but when it's in use stop everything and unplug the thumb drive and have nothing left on the computer? The target computer has an I5 2500k processor and a gtx 460 gpu, so I would need SMP and GPU(fermi). I did this a few years ago with the command line client, but would like to do it with the new 7.2.9 client. Thanks, (-: FireFox :-)

EuroFight Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 You could probably just run the installer but set the install location to the D:/ or E:/ drive that the USB is attached to? The software may not work in other computers, but it should work on the one it was installed from. Best of luck - Euro
VaporX Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 Couple of ways to try this. First try installing the client on the thumb drive from another computer and then see if it can be run from the computer you want to use. You could also put together a Linux install on the thumb drive for that PC and run it from there.
