In fact I cant take this to a bizarre new level of discussion.

What If I wanna go life EEUU (or any european country) without a visa? And what If I want to eat the vegetables I produce and sleep in a terrain I found. World nowadays is crazy. You are an inhabitant of the world but you can't "walk" though the world. Because there are frontiers :P and you Born in this planet but is divided by countries so you can walk within the limits of your country even tough you are a son of GOD and you just want to live a life as natural as possible .. let's say farming your own food in a free terrain.. that is not possible You have to pay for terrain and then pay taxes for the land... even tough we all should be free to stay wherever we want.. I'm ranting too much but I often discuss this.

Is crazy.. I know in the past "if u took my land" i kill u.. now there is more civilizated but less natural.. cuz u have to pay to goverment for a piece of earth to live in jajajajajajjajahahaha or u have to say who you are, what are u going to do, how much are you going to stay, how much money do you have to enter and walk in another country... world is crazy (cool story bro).

Socialism for the win. It's working so well in most of the EU.

My friend tried telling me Germany is Socialist, well then that would make it look really good since stuff gets done there.

The problem with Italy/Greece/Spain is that those countries have been complete garbage for years. Greece you get payed a full pension at like 40 if you were a freaking barber since that is considered dangerous. Spain is just epic fail because people are lazy and can't get stuff done(They have been irrelevant since I think around the 1500's or 1600's) and Italy, oh god. Such a corrupt place filled with arrogant idiots.

I have a special hate for Greece now. They drag down the EU and then call Germany Nazis for telling them what to do to improve their economy/country.

I mean that in all possible seriousness. I agree that most of Europe is a complete joke.

There are people who add value, maintain value, tranfer value, defeat value, and destroy value.

Value, money, can be created by ideas or manufacture, building, moving, making.. Maintain is services, some vital, some not. Transfer is the ability to make money by buying and selling. Defeating value is stealing, scamming, and other null values, what is left is less. Destruction can be violent, by man or nature,

Everyone all the time has to face changes in these values, personaalal and private.

We live in a complex multitiered Economy. Value, wealth, prosperity are beliefs.

Doomsayers are that. destroyers.

Blaming a President FOR SOMETHING WE ALL ELECTED is refusing to face reality.

Thinking an idealogy has all the answers is right up there with North Korea.

Our government is a work in progress mostly hobbled by uncomproming fools .

The author would most closely associate his political affiliation as independent / libertarian - however I've known for him to vote for everyone from Bill Clinton to a very conservative congress woman.

One thing I do know as of this morning - the proposal put on the table by POTUS just isn't going to fly. Why would Congress give POTUS unfettered authority to lift the debt ceiling from here on out without Congressional approval? How does a 1.6 trillion increase in revenue balance the budget with only 800 billion in proposed spending cuts????? How are the proposed spending cuts affected by the new proposed "stimulus package" and extension of other social services?

First off I voted for Gary Johnson. That being said, I think Obama is going to change this country as we know it. Much as Bush started the country down the path to a police state, Obama is the finisher. There is nothing worse than a terrible president with a free four year pass without the worry of "re-election". There is going to be a full out war on guns. There is going to be a bigger push for global government with the U.N being at the head. These are just a few things but are my biggest concerns.

People talk about heading down the path to socialism. How about communism?

Remember, The United States is the last conquest for the United Nations. The only problem is we are armed citizens. Things can get ugly.

Because Congress right now is a ridiculous joke of stupidity from both sides? Increasing the debt ceiling is a necessary evil imo, I just find it comical that now we have an issue with it, while under the previous presidency it was done 7 times without any public outrage. 18 under Reagan, and then it was considered necessary, but today it isn't?

Yes debt is a problem, and we can't outspend it, it will always be there, but right now isn't exactly the time to put things on a stand still, my thoughts anyways.

I'm also quite late in this thread so I'll just drop in one last nugget of comedy:

I'd rather have a chimpanzee in the White House than Romney or Obama.

We did, for 8 years. That turned out quite excellent did it not? :whistling:

edited for a typo.

I can't comment on those as i was not cognizant of Reagan's presidency nor interested in Bush's.

But are we not allowed to learn from our mistakes? We let them do it but that doesn't me we have to let Obama do it. Plus there is a difference between letting him do it and letting him do it without congress' approval is there not?

There is something called executive orders. Orders that lets say circumvent the Congress.

If you think there is a true checks and balances system in the United States you are very asleep.

I knew they existed, i just was not aware of the extent to which they were used. But while i don't know much about them it would seem to me that there must be some advantages to going through congress otherwise i would imagine that the president would spend more time writing executive orders than working with congress.
