Personally I'd go Intel even on your budget. Any Z68 or Z77 board along with any s1155 quad should last you essentially forever (at least until it dies) and combined with that 7750 you'll have a super low power system as well.

 

Also, with an Intel setup, you can do Smart Response down the road for a huge jump in performance.

Here's what I'd do with $300 today:

 

Use the 7750 and your other parts plus the following:

That comes to just under $300, nets you a ridiculous drop in power consumption, a CPU that's probably faster for most of what you do even though it's a dual core with HT, and an SSD for caching that will make a bigger difference than anything else. You also have enough cooling on the mobo stock that you can drop in a quad core IB sometime in the future for a good deal and overclock it without worrying about the motherboard destroying itself.

Then just don't get the SSD. If you do go for that cheaper board El Capitan linked you won't have the option for using SSD caching in the future. Just keep that in mind.

If you want to go CHEAP cheap then there's an MSI Z77 board on Newegg that's both full ATX and $80 after rebate with free shipping. It has no heatsinks on the VRMs though so you probably wouldn't be doing any crazy overclocking with it.
