You wont regret it Im running a i7 3930K overclocked to 4.5GHz 24/7 (could go higher to between 4.5GHz-4.8GHz but Im in 30C Summer heat with an overclocked 7970 running in my water loop lol) on an ASRock X79 Extreme 9 with 4x4Gb G.Skill Ripjaws X 2133MHz in quad channel and I'd definately say its much nicer than my 2600K running at 5GHz and ASUS Maximus IV Extreme-Z that I upgraded from. Also, LGA2011 gives you the option of upgrading to Ivy Bridge Extreme (22nm 6 cores and the possibility of 8-10 core 22nm chips yay ) while LGA1155 is dead since the newly released normal Ivy Bridge CPU's are the last to feature on the platform since Haswell is LGA1150.
