The mechanic dropped the engine, pulled the transmission, put the clutch in (without aligning it), then took all his shit and ran away. Nightmare of a job... Spent about 4 hours on it today and got stuck on removing the axles because we don't have the massive 1 1/4" socket and walmart didn't carry it. More progress tomorrow... The old transmission decided to turn into a pencil sharpener and ate my output shaft. A new close ratio box cost me $150. Clutch only has 20% left so I'll be replacing it while everything is out.
