Psywar Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Hey ya'll! So in the past I have done a couple MegaSquirt builds with people and I even owned one of my own in the last car I owned. I still sort of keep up with it and what not in case I need to help re-tune someone's car. I came across this: http://www.tunerstudio.com/index.php/shadowloggerms Shadow Logger MS - Allows you to capture / log your data using your Android Phone and/or Tablet. The future of the App you will be able to do your tuning from the Phone or Tablet as well.. I really think this is a cool program for anyone using the MegaSquirt. It looks like also in the future you will be able to share your config files with other people over the tablet or phone as well. Which is pretty cool if you have a friend who has a similar build as you and you need a base config to start off with. Anyways just wanted to share. Waco Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Saweet! I'll eventually go with a MS. Right now the guy I bought my car from is working on a custom ECU so I may end up going that way if he gets it working though.
airman Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Man, if there's ever a way to get VE Analyzer on my phone I'd be all for it For logs, eh if I'm already logging chances are I am tuning as well so I still need my lappy toppy. Show of hands, Megasquirt users here? *raises hand*

airman Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Mmm yes. Open dump wastegate and burning through ~600+ CC of fuel a minute at WOT gives a similar effect, with a bonus added burnt tire smell

airman Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Haha yes, my one-wheel-peel. But I rather like the control of an open when not sliding, lol

Puck Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 (edited) Never used megasquirt but have been following it for a while. Seems like a great budget solution, but when EFIConnections came out with that 24x 411 ECM setup I threw my MS plans out the window . The LS ECM is one of the most widely tuned computers in the world, and tuners are EVERYWHERE for it. Who uses a gas guzzling 750cfm double pumping carburetor? *raises hand* Nope, but I have a big ol' 1350cfm Accel 4150 flange throttle body here Ton of money into that Supervic too...shaved water neck, carbon fiber lifter valley shield, injector bosses welded in for EFI, and fully ported/cloverleafed by Craig Gallant...
